Ryan Taylor brings 17 years of project management expertise from South Africa to Utah. From managing MTN’s data centers in Johannesburg to leading projects at Cache Valley Media, Ryan’s career has spanned continents and industries. Now a master’s student in Computer Information Systems, his journey—from the mines to the classroom—shaped the adaptable GMP² framework.
Drawing from Alice’s adaptability, Willy Wonka’s creativity, and Elon Musk’s ambition, Ryan crafted GMP² to make project management both effective and enjoyable. His book Do They Have Broomsticks in Space? brings these ideas to life with whimsical storytelling and practical wisdom.
Based in Bountiful, Utah, Ryan lives with his wife Lauren and their kids, Erin-May and Colton. When not writing or managing projects, he enjoys hiking and family adventures—fueling his belief that every journey, big or small, can be a success with the right approach.
